Daring Cardmakers Challenge

The challenge over at Daring Cardmakers this week is to be inspired by this month's flower, calendular or cosmos. Here's my take:

I don't normally use yellow so this was a change for me:

  • Pale lemon card blank

  • Laura Ashley ribbon stickers

  • Various blooms and bling from stash

  • Sentiment stamp punched and layered

Here's the link in case you want to have a go too:

Cute Bag Alert...

I'm not a big sewer, but I am a big hoarder of material. I think I've found the perfect (easy sew) pattern to show off some of my stash:

Rae does lots of other patterns and her blog is full of inspiration. Here's the link to get the pattern, which is only $8:

Dusting off the BIA

My poor BIA thinks I've disowned it. Not likely, but I did lose all my wires for 8 months during the move. However, now rediscovered, I have put them to good use with some lovely flocked paper, but I can't for the life of me remember where it's from!

Size A5, will be used for some pics of the house renovations I think.

And another one...

I enjoyed the layer challenge the other day and as I had yet more die cuts, I used them to create another simple Thank You card. Hoping to have a pile ready in time for Christmas!

  • Paper from Basic Grey

  • Brad from Sassafras

  • Stamp from Dovecraft

  • Flower petals from Craft Robo template

  • White A5 card base

  • Papers from Basci Grey

  • Brad from Sassafras

  • Papermania stamped greeting

  • Yellow flowers cut from CraftRobo file and inked

Here's the link for the challenge:

Why don't my scraps look like this?

Kirsty Wiseman has done it again and made a fab scrap page out of scraps! I can barely manage a card, but she has pulled off a lovely scrapbook page and a card.

Go and see her genius for yourself here:
