365 Cards Challenge - Day 193 - Geography

The challenge on day 193 was to make some cards inspired by a holiday destination. I've chosen the Botanic Gardens in Wales, hence the flower inspiration. Why stop at one card when you can have 3:

  • Bazzill Card

  • Ribbon from stash

  • Die cut flowers from old QVC kit

  • Giant brads from Papermania

  • Chipboard from Autumn Leaves

  • Bling from stash

  • Stamped sentiments (Papermania I think)

365 Cards Challenge - Day 187 - Past/Present/Future

When today's challenge was to use the following...

  1. Pick an item/technique/tool from the past that you haven't used in a while

  2. Use your favorite color at present

  3. Use a theme that is relevant in your life in the near future (a holiday or upcoming event)
... I struggled a bit, but eventually came up with:

  1. Making Memories transfer roller thingy - used for the flower stalks

  2. Green is rocking my world at the mo

  3. Theme is gardening as I am spending time trying to sort out the garden

Very simple this one:

  • Paper from scraps box

  • Scalloped and plain circle punches from Woodware

  • Bling from stash

  • MM transfer runner

Love is in the air...

We are going to a wedding of one of my best friends tomorrow and I can't wait to see how the menu's, favours and name cards that I made turned out. The invites went out a while ago and I can't say that I am sad to see the back of these little blighters:

I {heart} retro cars - Freebie image alert

These images from The Hamndmade home are as cute as can be and a real help for man-cards, which I always find hard.

Love the Orange one in the middle. Here's the link if you want to download a copy:

Another Home Tweet Home card from me...

Lovely Paperchase stickers and die cuts from the Create a Critter Cricut cart (say that 4 times quickly!).

There is something about Kraft...

...that I just enjoy! Not sure if it is the simplicity of the colour, the slight grungyness of an imperfect finish or just the contrast that it has with some colours. This card makes me smile - used up some scraps I had in my scrap box and various round punches. Edges sanded with nail files from Poundland and buttons from my button box. Simple and effective.

Thanks

I love the ease of using my Cricut, but every now and then I will dig out the CraftRobo to have a go at welding words. Here's the result on a Thank You card - very, very simple and using up one of my Basic Grey 6 x 6 pads:
