Another Halloween Project...

While I'm on a roll, this is a project made last year for a friend's daughter...

Halloween Mini Book

Every year, we have a Halloween party with the neighbours (forget that the youngest of us is now 37!) which usually results in the overuse of face paints and dodgy stories whilst huddled round a bar-be-que on a wet night!

I wanted to take a present for Maria to say thank you so I used last week's freebie from here:

http://dan99.blogspot.com/

and made a mini book. Papers are from K&Co and the shapes are ones I've downloaded for my Craft Robo from UKS over the years. Used the trusty BIA to bind.

Oh, and my Studio Calico kit arrived Friday - it's rather fab!

Christmas Stuff

Been off work today with the lurgi so been making a few bits to prevent rotting my brain with daytime TV!

Found some cheap notebooks in Tesco a few weeks ago and used some Sweet Berry paper and ribbons to jazz it up:

Been playing with my BIA and the odd bits of wire I seem to get left with. Will probably dress these up with ribbon and use these for Christmas presents:

Also been making tags with this beautiful butterfly stamp from my August Studio Calico kit:

Giveaway:
One of my fellow team mates on UKS has made the most wonderful stationery set and she's giving it away too:

Amazeing Maze Books!!

Maze books have to be one of the most fun things to make and can be done very quickly and with relatively few supplies. Here's my latest offerings:

This one's for a class I am teaching at the Wycombe Crop on 25 October:

Check out http://wycombescrappers.blogspot.com/ for more details.

I love "Love Elsie" and this paper had to be used for a front cover:

Finally, DH saw my stamp tin and wanted one for himself. He has a smart car, hence the design (BG papers and chipboard alpha).

Altered Stuff

I love making something new out of something old and here are three examples:

An altered cigar tim to keep my postage stamps in (Doodlebug papers, Brenda Pinnick chipboard letters and lots of glossy accents!):

Old tin cans as pen holders:

And another cigar tin stuffed with stash for a swap on UKS (K&Co papers):

BIA Books

Been busy making Bind It All (BIA) albums for presents and had a gret time doing these:

The tree was a chipboard shape (I think from Dovecraft??), covered in spotty paper and trimmed and then given 3 coats of clear UTEE.

and also this ring round book:

Maze books are next on the agenda...
